1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking and using the services of Melbourne to Airport Taxi ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or submit a booking through our website.

2. Services

Melbourne to Airport Taxi provides taxi transfer services including but not limited to:

  • Airport transfers to and from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport
  • General taxi transfers within Melbourne and surrounding suburbs
  • Corporate and business transfers
  • Wedding and special event transfers
  • Parcel and delivery services
  • Long-distance regional transfers

3. Booking and Confirmation

  • All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by our team.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email or phone call from us.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking including pickup address, drop-off address, date, time, contact number, and email.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking at our discretion.

4. Fares and Payment

  • Fares are determined based on the distance, time of travel, vehicle type, and any applicable surcharges (e.g. tolls, airport fees, late-night surcharges).
  • An estimated fare may be provided at the time of booking, but the final fare may vary depending on actual trip conditions.
  • We accept payment via cash, credit/debit card, Cabcharge, and PayPal.
  • Payment is due at the completion of the trip unless alternate arrangements have been agreed upon.
  • For corporate accounts, invoicing terms may be arranged separately.

5. Cancellations and No-Shows

  • You may cancel a booking free of charge by providing at least 2 hours' notice before the scheduled pickup time.
  • Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the pickup time may incur a cancellation fee.
  • If the driver arrives at the pickup location and the passenger is not present within 15 minutes, the booking will be treated as a no-show, and a fee may apply.

6. Waiting Time

  • For airport pickups, a complimentary waiting time of up to 30 minutes after the scheduled flight landing time is provided.
  • For all other pickups, a complimentary waiting time of 10 minutes from the confirmed pickup time is provided.
  • Additional waiting time beyond the complimentary period may be charged at the applicable meter rate.

7. Passenger Responsibilities

  • Passengers must behave in a respectful and lawful manner during the trip.
  • Smoking, consumption of alcohol, and consumption of food in the vehicle is prohibited unless expressly permitted by the driver.
  • Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. Melbourne to Airport Taxi is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items left in the vehicle.
  • If damage is caused to the vehicle by a passenger (including soiling), the passenger may be charged a cleaning or repair fee.
  • All passengers must wear seatbelts as required by Victorian law.
  • Children must be seated in appropriate child restraints as per Victorian law. If you require a child seat, please request one at the time of booking.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Melbourne to Airport Taxi will make all reasonable efforts to ensure timely pickups and safe transport. However, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, weather, flight delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • We are not responsible for missed flights, appointments, or events due to unforeseen delays.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of our services shall not exceed the fare paid for the relevant trip.

9. Luggage

  • Standard vehicles can accommodate a reasonable amount of luggage. If you have excessive luggage or oversized items, please notify us at the time of booking so we can arrange an appropriate vehicle.
  • The driver reserves the right to decline luggage that may compromise vehicle safety or capacity.
  • Melbourne to Airport Taxi is not responsible for damage to luggage during transit unless caused by negligence.

10. Privacy

Your personal information is collected, used, and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Collection Statement. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in those documents.

11. Complaints and Disputes

If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us as soon as possible. We will investigate all complaints and aim to resolve them in a fair and timely manner.

12. Amendments

Melbourne to Airport Taxi reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon publication on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
